A TAKS Pep Rally was held prior to the 4th grade writing TAKS test. Superintendent Vicki Adams spoke to students about using the skills they have been practicing at school and stressed the importance of students doing their very best. A challenge was made to the students that if 90% or more of the students pass the TAKS exam, Supt. Vicki Adams, East Side Intermediate Principal Carolyn Kubecka and Assistant Principal Rebecca Crowell will all pucker up and kiss a pig. EASTER EGG HUNT SAT. AT BLESSING PARKThe First State Bank of Louise in Blessing will sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (March 20) at the Blessing Park Pavilion. Age divisions are 0-3rd grade. Plates (dine in or take out) are $7 and includes fried turkey, homemade dressing, special salad medley, yams, and dessert.
