Hi. Doing a followup on my brother Frank Hodges. We are looking for Hodges in Palacios in the 1930's. I was born in Palacios 1938. We still have kin there, Cooper's, Collins, Rogers and Jost. Our parents were Dewey Clint Hodges and Marie Avis Ivy. We had an aunt and uncle there also. Aunt Ima Ivy Cooper and Uncle Dewey Cooper. Hope someone could help us with our grandpa and grandma Hodges. We believe uncle Otis Hodges passed away there in 1986.
I believe there is some Anthis's live there too. You may be kin to my husband.

The Bruce Herlins informed me about the Beacon being Online. This is great because I don't get back to Palacios very often and I miss it and the people very much. My father, Rex Cooper, ran the Ben Franklin Store and my mother, Jennie Marie Cooper, taught school. My brother, Gene and I grew up in Palacios from 1947 to the mid 1960's. We left home to attend Austin College in Sherman. Thank you so much for providing a guestbook. I would love to hear from some of my childhood friends if they happen to read this. Sincerely, Ann Cooper (Gay)
